About the artist: Nature Sketch Crate’s lessons are instructed by award-winning Scientific Illustrator, Stephanie Rozzo. Stephanie has a BS in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology and a Master’s Certificate in Science Illustration. In addition, Stephanie has hands-on experience working with wild animals at zoos, aquariums, and rehabilitation centers. Stephanie applies her knowledge and research to create lessons for Nature Sketch Crate which features one animal and one plant each month. Stephanie is also a mother of two young boys and Nature Sketch Crate’s CEO & Founder. As a mother, Stephanie found she had little time to paint for herself. As a result, she honed a sketching method that was simple and quick. Stephanie’s goal is to share this method through Nature Sketch Crate to help more people start painting and connect with Nature.
